Superhero Dogs and Super Villain Parents – The Dark Knight Rises – Creative Halloween Costumes

This Halloween I decided that the four of us (me, my girlfriend, Dunder and Munster) had to go as characters from The Dark Knight Rises. The movie was amazing and I could not think of a more perfect set of costumes. I browsed through some of the costumes available in stores and was disappointed by the quality, so I decided to make them…all of them.

I went as Bane and my girlfriend as Catwoman. I made the Bane and Catwoman masks by hand, using items from around the house and a few items from the hardware store. Those took a while. I don’t know if it was harder to build a custom Bane mask on my own head or measure and sew fitted costumes on to two dogs that wouldn’t sit still.
